Transverse Flutes

Perhaps the most versatile flutes I make are the transverse flutes, with a range greater than two octaves, depending on the skill of the player and the quality of construction, one can play from jazz to Baroque or oriental music with them.

The flute is the closest relative to the modern flute . I usually make them with G or C major tuning , the latter being a pocket flute .
